Tried to PM you but unfortunately your storage is full

Could you please PM me Paul's address ASAP (for obvious reasons)?

Phew

I have the required address now, thanks bippym

Now all that is left is to do:

... Decide on what to write (this thread will achieve this Decide on Pauls Message).
... Decide on what wreath to purchase (come on guys, some more suggestions / thoughts please).
... Order / arrange delivery.

As regards the wreath, do we have any choices?

I mean its usually a round wreath with some sort of picture/photo in the centre or something spelled out in flowers.

Any ideas?

Damien had the idea of a collage with our favorite Amiga game heroes, with a pic of Paul/The Green Amiga Alien avatar in the middle.

I think a blue & white ribbon would be a nice idea too.

I think this was a suggestion in Paul; The Green Alien - "Tribute" thread... about a day or something...

So, no brownie points for Damien.

But who is skilled enough to do a really nice collage?

I was going to say that, nice idea but impossible for a wreath

BTW, it was an option in the other thread. Someone suggested it on IRC, sorry forgot who:

Cool idea for a certain day or something though

It could be a separate present for the family, Damien. Not bundled with the wreath, maybe framed.

Edit: This one looks nice, maybe we could build in a pic from The Green Alien avatar.

Hmmm, I don't know Retro-Nerd...

It appeals to us but not sure about his parents. I know your heart is in the right place but I think it's probably best to keep this kind of stuff in our forum on a special "Paul" day

yes, i agree with DamienD: Paul was special to us, but the loss for his family is non comparable to ours, so it's of them we should think and step a little back

I'm sure his mom would like it, but maybe a bit to persist.

Not all all girv

We defintely have enough money to purchase the wreath now (which I will be doing today at 3pm). It was decided to keep the "window" for donations / contributions going for about 1 month so still 3 weeks or so left, afterwards everything collected will be given to Paul's family to decide on how best to use it

Forgive us for coming on here so often, but your comments and love for Paul is so overwhelming and we just can't help but look! The funeral service is as follows: 2:15 p.m. at Cambridge Crematorium and 3:30 p.m. for a service of thanksgiving and celebration of his life at St. Ives Methodist Church.

Anything you decide about a wreath/flowers is fine by us - the zanier the better - but if time is pressing, a print out of maybe all your avatars or Amiga characters etc for us to frame would be a lovely keepsake. I hope you don't mind, but we have printed out your messages of condolence and this will be taken to the 3:30 service. You (EAB) were a big part of Paul's life, so it is only right that EAB is represented. I don't know how long it takes for wreathes etc to be made up. We ordered earlier in the week and these go direct to the undertakers (Huntingdon Co-operative funeral services, St. Peter's Road, Huntingdon, Cambs.), but if you would rather send them here, we will take them to the 3:30 service (as long as we receive them by 1:00 p.m.) taking them to the crematorium could be awkward!. Anyway thanks for all you've done for Paul!

Will come back on here after the funeral etc and if I take a photo of your flowers, picture etc. could I ask someone to talk me through how to post it on here. After that, we won't bother you again.

Patricia & Mick (Paul's Mum & Dad)
