The story goes like this:
That board was derived from the TF328 by edu_arana. Since the TF328 is released under the GPL, he had the obligation to release his modified sources. He only released the gerbers (which are NOT sources according to the GPL), so some time ago I asked him if he could provide the design files as well. He stepped back, Mr Leary stepped in in his place and all I got was lame insults. What showed through is that they didn't understand the GPL and thought the gerbers were enough. At that point, instead of releasing the design files, Mr Leary granted edu a different license and they just deleted the whole project. Luckily I had anticipated their move and forked the repos before they disappeared and this card is still partly open. So, https://github.com/SukkoPera/A1200-8MB is just a copy of https://github.com/arananet/A1200-8MB before it disappeared. I didn't change it in any way (you see images are missing because they still point to the old URL), so whatever was supposed to be on the latter should still be on the former. The firmware was never there AFAIK, but on the TF328 page under the edu1200_board branch. That seems to be still available at https://github.com/terriblefire/tf32.../edu1200_board but I've forked that too: in case it disappears, check out https://github.com/SukkoPera/tf328/tree/edu1200_board (again: untouched). I have never built this board, so I can't say for sure it works, but I hope the gerbers are correct and the firmware matches, that's all I can say. |

You have to use the correct firmware and you should find it on SukkoPera's last link in #2. I have never soldered this ramexpansion, so can't say something about it...but i know from someone other that it is working fine in A1200.
