Sorry, I've not installed that yet so missed it.

I shan't do another for a bit as I'm working through mine.

Heya qupe,

Just took a quick look at all the games in the 3 x packs you've done

"Peebee" is missing the screenshot; reason is that you've named the file "___SShot.png.png".

Running Bob looks decent, but I have no idea how to play it (and there's no "docs" on disk)

Edit: oh, and another thing that would improve your packs; you don't have centering on when taking the title / screenshots:

vs.

Running Bob, you have to blow up keys on the floor to open the door, taking out the lights too I think might give a bonus. To jump press fire and up. The ladders are a bit of a pain at times.

I had to search for a different version of Running Bob as the initial version came with a german crack, which I got past, but wanted it to run better.

Pack 3 should be fine as I've viewed all the screens.

Pack 2 - https://mega.nz/#!TNMDjQCR!sY0R38XU-...gXcSHWGRTbv-Oo

Thanks for the instructions

Jumping seems to be this though: whilst moving <Left> or <Right>, just press the <Fire Button>.

Pack 3 definitely isn't; take a look at these:
... Bang!
... Running Bob (you can see this from my post)
... Sarakon
... Tempest 1200

Yeah the image centering wasn't sorted but they are there and all worked. I'll sort that issue when I get some time to work on WinUae more.

I'm only talking about the centering of the title / sshots here.

As mentioned; I really don't have the time to be checking / correcting stuff for people, so haven't actually tested by playing all the games; especially ones that I don't think highly of after judging from the title / sshot...

At the end of the day, I'm just trying to give you tips; not criticise

...but it's really up to you whether or not you take / action my suggestions.

I will try to sort the screenshots if needed in the future, I just need to focus on what I'm doing at the minute as I'm making mistakes doing too much at once and leave WinUae alone until I have more time and when've you've exhausted your entries . The games do work though I have played and tested them all.

It isn't a bad batch of games, I've definitely played worse older Amiga games. Some of the ones in pack 2 are better than/as good as Air Ace II for example.

Bang! is a nice challenging Arkanoid game with a neat little twist, if you hit the back 10 times you progress to the next level but if you miss the ball on level 2 it falls into level 1 and so on.

Sarakon is a mahjonng style game, not for everyone but I like it and I still own it

10x10 - I dip into it a lot for a quick game.

It's down to what people like I guess.

Thanks for taking a look the packs tho all feedback is appreciated, I am definitely still a newbie with WinUae.

I might also add that if this is to be used as an "unofficial" pack, then the disks should be stored in WinUAE/Games/Unofficial rather than in the official games directory.

Editing all the configs by hand is rather tedious

I tend to agree here

That's a 30 second job using Notepad++

...I did this with all 3 x qupe's packs when having a quick look, as I didn't want anything conflicting with my official collection i.e:
  • Extracted all folders in the "Games" directory from the packs --> "C:\WinUAE\Games\Unofficial".
  • Extracted all configuration files in the "Configurations" directory from the packs --> "C:\WinUAE\Configurations\Unofficial".
  • Used Notepad++ to change all lines in configuration files under "C:\WinUAE\Configurations\Unofficial" from ".\Games" --> ".\Games\Unofficial".
I can upload tonight if people want?

Probably for the best Damien.

I will not do any more as I'm going to finish my Launchbox pack and I use FSUAE for that and it's more consistent with what I am doing.

Sorry to cause you extra work messing with this.

Ok, I've now done the above and uploaded a file named "Qupe_Unofficial Update Pack 1 - 3.rar" to the EAB File Server under the directory "/~Uploads/qupe":

I also removed these games as they are in my official collection:
  • The Adventures of Freddy Fish
  • The Amazing Adventures of Harry Haddock
  • White Rabbits

Your installation of Strife pollutes the archive - it needs to go into

Configurations\Unofficial\
Games\Unofficial\

As per Damien's wishes here.

Cool, I'll take a look at adding that officially anyway.

For game suggestions that you want me to look at / possibly add; use this thread: Request for any gems

Strife is a really good FPS adventure, played it to death back in the Doom/Heretic hayday on the PC.
