Confirmed
Works fine as a 500 (half + half)
or by using S-Kick first

yup, SWIV has a 1.x kickstart legacy iirc
the Nomad AGA fix should work also on 500+ ,despite some little gfx glitches iirc

also strange loader that game (i mean the original too)
it does detect every extra memory at boot, and it does not use it at all

Played a lot of chess lately, and its variant - crazy house. Any chess piece you take from opponent you can place back on board. This leads to interesting and funny games.

Thanks both for checking and advising. Will get my relockick out of retirement!

I'll check the AGA version too thanks.

Played Fire Amblem on GBA, wondering why fun RPG / Strategy games like this were not developed on Amiga.

I'm playing The TakeOver, and I'm enjoying it alot more than Streets of Rage 4.

Its gameplay feels more fluid, character movement is faster and I'm really digging the music.

Been playing PowerSlave Exhumed on and off for the last month and Nightdive made a really good port. Maybe not better than PowerslaveEX, but at least on par

Being a fan of the series I also grabbed that one on launch day. Having checkpoints in the levels like in the DOS version is my favorite quality of life improvement. I only wish there was an option to play the PlayStation levels, but there are third party mods for that.

Actually testing the disks to make sure they still read / write.

Played Bubble Bobble and Blood Money (WHDLoad) with my two sons this morning on an old Pi3b with Retropie 4.8 and Amiberry 5.2. Tonight I want to check out how far I get with Secret of Monkey Islands. Pretty sure I did make it to the end about 30 years ago on my real Amiga 500, but can barely remember any of the story any more.

Come to think of it... what IS the secret of Monkey Island?

Surely not that a ghost pirate was hanging out there, that wasn't much of a secret.

Honestly, I can‘t remember. But please no spoiler until my kids are in bed and I can fire up my emulated Amiga to find out myself. Only thing I still know is the surename of the main character Guybrush

A fancy title, obviously. Which backfired when the game turned into a hit and fanboys started pestering the makers into revealing the "secret" which never existed :P

Funnily enough we just finished chapter one of Tales of Monkey Island like an hour ago The puzzle design is quite poor compared to the 'main' games (except for Escape), but the humour works quite well.

Been playing Nicky Boum for the super league and it's one of those games that I never played Back-In-The-Day™. Had a rough start as it also features a mild version of Rick Dangerous syndrome, but the longer I'm playing it the better it becomes.

Ah, Rick Dangerous. Another great piece of software I played entire nights with a school friend of mine w/o cheats or trainers. I was the specialist for level 1 and 3, my friend did 2 and 4. Took us weeks to explore any single trap and find a way of how to avoid it and to do entire level w/o loosing any live needed to explore the levels ahead

Somehow we both managed to pass school exams with good degrees to get real world jobs afterwards.

I know what you mean Rick Dangerous is a memory game disguised as a platformer

Fully agree, and a very addicting game too. But was never getting warm with it‘s successor Rick Dangerous 2.
