Blizzard SCSI CD ROM SET UP Question...

I am thinking of disconnecting my external SCSI CD Rom drive which is connected via a squirrel SCSI interface – I want to permanently free up the PCMCIA slot to use my compact flash card… I have an A1200 Desktop.

I have the Blizzard SCSI module connected to my Blizzard 030 card and have the correct cable to be able to re-connect the SCSI CD Rom in this way… question is, is it easy to set up?

The squirrel set up was very straight forward but I think that the Blizzard set up is more involved with changes that need to be made to device drivers…

Although I have had Amiga’s for some time I generally cr*p myself when I need to make changes in this way… any advice would be really welcome as I don’t want to keep on having to remove the Squirrel to use the PCMCIA slot…

Is it as involved as I think to set up the Blizzard SCSI with an external CD Rom?

Anyone got a step by step manual with pictures they could send me - ok only kidding but advice would be really appreciated...

All you need to change is the device name and unit number in your dosdriver.
