The EAB FTP server was really a benchmark. I didn't expect the server to be disabled for as long. it’s a shame that EAB considered everyone suspicious. Everyone is penalized by this authoritarian decision.

Yep, tbh there's no difference storing a copy of Monkey Island or a Kickstart, its how people want to define being good citizens, when tbh we are all in the same boat.


Anyway moving along, great work with these btw they come in handy when a disk is ndos/trackloader, speaking of which when you get time can you do these two please - Xorron 2001 / X-ploit

Hello there, since Aladin's generic WHDLoads are not there on EAB FTP anymore (at least not in upload), is there a new place to download them from, please?

I was told that this was inappropriate content for EAB's FTP server.
These generics were there since 2016. You can now get them from amigafrance (created in 2018). But it will not be as convenient, you will have to take file by file

Unfortunately I have a problem that trying any Workbench31 icon for any generic slave results with an error: "Exception Access Fault ... Long Read from..." (photo attached).



That is on 060 Amiga with Kickstart 3.1 and otherwise perfectly stable AOS 3.5, with all the necessary libs in and latest WHDLoad.
All the necessary Kickstarts are also in my DEVS.
Is there any hint that could resolve the problem? I may also try on 030, but I think the result will be pretty much te same (it was on 68000 with Kickstart 3.1, too).

Hi Aladin. I downloaded and installed the full set. However WHDLoad tells me that the slaves are out of date when the games are launched. Is there an automated way of updating them in bulk, like a script of some kind? Cyberhead97 very kindly sent me an HST prototype to try, but it didn't seem to work correctly, and he hasn't had time to source the bug. Many thanks in advance.

I recently updated a Brian the Lion AGA game slave and I am getting this error from WHDLoad. Does anyone know where it comes from or what it refers to?

NOTE: Only happens with AGA version, ECS works fine.

I think I found a small problem with spacetaxi3.lha from the set. The file CON- in SpaceTaxi3/data/data/ should be named CON. The wrong name causes an error when trying to open the options screen, see attached image.

I verified this using the Aminet archive as well.

This looks like an error stemming from using Windows at some point, which doesn't allow the filename "CON".
