Yupp; tested on real hardware and different WinUAE settings. always the same.
Its the slave itself that causes that.

I wrote JOTD already and he is working on it. Patience please.

Wow, that was fast hmmm, should work, its version 1.4 and it even mentions it in the readme.
I will try it... i am pretty sure it works. I play through it - only takes 15 minutes XD

This game was impressive (at least for graphics) but as a fighting game it was really mediocre. I'm suprise they did second part.

Just a question, is RiseOfTheRobots_v1.4-B_1365.lha (ECS) supposed to work on 68000?
I have A500+ with ACA500, therefore 2MB Chip + 4MB Fast with Kickstart 3.1, but the game crashes with WHDLoad giving: Exception "Illegal Instruction"...

I'll fix that in a few. Do you happen to have all kickstarts including kick40068.A1200 and kick40068.A4000 in devs:kickstarts? that's probably the reason.

but I'm going to update no matter what.

that's the issue. Kickemu chooses A1200 version instead of A600. Rename A1200/A4000 kicks it will work. But wait a bit, we're going to fix it properly from kickstart emulation.

Oh, I wasn't aware of that situation when using 68000 Amiga (I own A1230, too), I thought all of them should be there and WHDLoad somehow decides which is suitable.

Anyway, now RotR ECS works like charm on my A500+, thanks again!

Oddly now this latest ECS update won’t load any more on my A600 or A1200. It tells me I have an invalid kickstart image in devs kickstarts kick40063.a600.

I have all relevant kickstarts and the previous ECS version worked fine. Same issue with Bloodnet ECS also.

Edit: Same problem with both Valhalla games too.

check your kickstart image which is probably invalid with CRC16 whdload tool

Ok thanks I fixed it by obtaining another kickstart with the correct crc. In all the years I have been using Whdload I never had that issue with the kickstarts before. I guess all the other games only use either A500 or A1200 kickstarts.
