A500 CF HDD Drive Recommendations?

Hi All,

I'd like to add a CF HDD to one of my 'bog-standard' unmodded A500's. Can anyone recommend the HW to use? I can't really find anything on the interweb, unless I go down the 'accelerator route' which I don't want to do.

Any help / advice, as always, very much appreciated.

I always recommend ACA500plus for that. It is an accelerator, and costs 150E, but I'm not sure if it's possible to do it cheaper with similar compatibility (because ACA aleready includes big RAM, KS, Chipram option and so on).

Some version of Mika Leinonen's ide68k is probably a good choice. The drivers are in KS2.05 37.300 and newer.

Thanks dreadnought. Funnily enough I just sold my ACA500+ to pave the way for my new shiny v4 Firebird. TBH, I wish I hadn't sold it now
