Best (fastest/most accurate) emulated Amiga setup for a Raspberry Pi 3b
Hey, everybody!
What's the general consensus on the best (balancing speed and accuracy) emulated Amiga setup for the Raspberry Pi 3b would you say? |

Well, that is a difficult question to answer, especially when you look at different Amiga models. From my testing and use, I prefer the Diet Pi Distro with Amiberry. But I prefer minimal setups for me to add my configs and get the most from the pi system.

I use Amibian 1.4.1001 on my Raspberry pi 3b+ as it's both very quick to load into at under 10 seconds from boot but a game like frontier at highest detail runs at a full frames jit. That alone seriously impressed me and it's great to think we can even do this for such a low price- current chip issues have changed that currently of course. Your model before though runs Amibian really well too. It's Amiberry but I find it's the perfect setup. Has midnight Commander and all your necessary bits
The option to change all your resolution and 50 or 60 before booting into it. Unlike some setups I've tried Amibian doesn't default to point filtering and so represents the pixels better. That's my experience only though |

I think they're working on the next one or update whatever that might be but that there hasn't been much to announce. There's probably a bit more to read over at their forums. I know that you can have access to whatever they're doing with it by a donation on the site. I'm really not sure though

Retropie with PUAE is surprisingly good, had no real issues with most games and super easy to setup and configure. Some games struggle with cycle exact switched on, however a little overclocking can remedy that.
