Is it bad if a piece of pin of kickrom is broken off?

I have a kickrom 3.2 for my Amiga 500 ordered and seems 1 pin was kinda weak. Is it bad if a piece of pin of kickrom is broken off although it still seems to work though (get splash screen kickrom 3.2)?

It can't be good. Since it's a brand new ROM, contact the dealer and do an exchange.

Pin 1 is Address line 17. It must be making contact with the socket else you would get a ROM checksum error (red screen I think).

If I broke it I'd probably live with is but if it arrived broken I'd get a replacement.

So If I get a normal boot screen, I could/should live with it? I mean things should work fine I mean? (saves me a lot of fuzz). For me it's important that I know, it will still work properly.

How many pins does your kickstart have? 40 or 42?
(Can't tell from the pic since your fingers are covering some pins).

If it is 42, you have no need to worry.
Pin 42 is not-connected.
(Possibly why they may have snipped it?).

Search the web for a pinout of a 27C800.
