Amending startup-sequence for Sabre Team AGA

As there is no whdload for this game i have used the original installer but due to memory restrictions (thats what the installer says, Ive got plenty)
i have to amend the startup sequence to include a y/n question to run the game,

Now i don't want to have to answer no every time i don't want to play the game so i was wondering is there a command that i can use to wait for an answer for x amount of secs then if no answer carry on loading workbench ,

also what command do i use to accept the key press "y" without having to press enter.

Thanks in advance

Dan

There is a WHDLoad installer for the game. But the protection wasn't removed from the AGA Version to force you to purchase the original game.

I use RESRUN (Reset Run) from Aminet for memory hungary games.

Just change the game icon to a project icon and set the default

tool to RESRUN instead of IconX. Clicking the Icon will then reset

the computer and run the game OR....use the program KEYPRESSED

from Aminet to load the game rather than WB by holding down a

specific key while loading

I think there is some confusion here. The ECS version carried an extra protection that checked what machine you were running on, if it detected an AGA machine, it would stop the ECS version running on that machine, hence forcing you to go out and buy the AGA version. Not that the AGA version wasn't cracked, myself and Jeff have simply not supported it at this time, I don't know how different the AGA version is to the CD32 version, if the CD32 version is a carbon copy of the AGA version, then you should be able to copy the files over by hand and it might work that way.

No probs DanE

BTW A program I 4got about is FAKEKEY. It simulates ANY keypress

or combo and has a timer option. Great for automating scripts!

Cheers.
