The looks are due to Sierra using their engine which didn't use the capabilities of the Amiga. They did enable MIDI on the Amiga though (one of the few publishers that did): https://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=107068

I understand your point, but for me MIDI was always way too synthetic to feel it good to sound and listen. Anyway, it sounds definitely better than the Amiga music in this case, sadly.

That is pretty much how I imagined it, and now it exists for real! That is so cool. I do like the Amiga tune of Space Quest 3 but that might just be nostalgia talking. One of those tunes that gets stuck in your head.
