does anyone have exec.library 53.41?

hi, i'm new here, and i managed to emulate amigaos 4.1 on winuae. however, every time the workbench loads up, it always complains about the fact that it can't open ethernet.device. i already downloaded and put the file in the right place, but, if i double-click on it, a dialog box says that it needs exec.library 53.41 or higher.
i couldn't find that exact file on the internet, i only found an older version of it.
so, does anyone have this file?

You don't have to open the ethernet.device, just configure it with Roadshow. Have a look at https://thomas-rapp.homepage.t-onlin...uae/index.html

Exec is the core of the OS, not just a random file you can mix and match. If you get the error that it's too old, then the software requires a later version of the OS to work properly. 53.x is OS 4.1 - download the updates for 4.1 from Hyperion and install them, then run AmiUpdate and install the updates that gives you (assuming they're still available - 4.1 has been superseded by 4.1FE for many years now).

Which parts do download and update? Do you have the login details for the update server? AmiUpdate connects to several servers to update files, but while the 3rd party servers don't typically need a login, the server for the core OS updates does and won't download the updates without being logged in.
