I got a question related to this game. I'm pretty new to Amiga emulation so please forgive me if the issue laughably easy to fix.

I have the WHDload added to my FS-UAE setup set to a1200 with 2mb chipram. Despite this, the game skips the intro despite saying on the website that it should be playing on systems strong enough to handle it.

Is there something missing with my setup or is the missing intro a known issue? I am using the latest version from the Pixelglass website.

You need most of your chipram free - if, for whatever reason your workbench setup burns up too much chipram, I'd recommend playing it no startup sequence mode.

Though, if you're using FS-UAE, it's probably easier to just use the CD32 ISO.

strange. latest HD version stops on 'Relmagine Games' screen.
im running game from ClassicWB on WinUAE. configure is nothing special.
tried creating config from scratch (via Quick config and mount hd image), or increasing chip ram to 8MB or +16MB of 32bit chip ram setting. but all fails.
further more, with or without intro, it fails.

EDIT:
nvm, it seems my controller setting was glitched.

See attachment.

Am I doing something wrong or is everybody having this issue?

No WHDLoad update in sight for fixing the title screen (in combination with using fast ram)?

I hope they get the ADF fix for it to work on NTSC machines! It locks up to a black screen. The game itself works on NTSC in WHDLoad...

Just a question, is this proper end of the game or did I mess up somehow?

Yup, this is the one and only end.

Btw, most people probably don't know this but there's more of this level. If you make it on top of the walls while entering, you can pass over this room. If you proceed into the darkness and after a few invisible obstacles you'll come into a dead end you'll be stuck in the dark forever (game becomes unbetable and you have to start all over again)!

Sorry, no news yet. Last time I checked (many months ago), there was some tests done but there was no follow up. Note that the adf version is based on Galahad's/Scoopex crack, so it's beyond our hands.

Thought so, just checking as it had been many, many moons since I last completed this

I read that in the slave notes.

...but when I first played I must have died trying to run under the dragon so then started on top of the wall, jumped over the gap and ran along. I then got into darkness and there were invisible platforms, I kept moving / jumping, eventually must have touched something and saw the same end screen.

Edit: just quickly skipped to level 32 using the Flashtro disk and took screenshots:

Thumbs up The remake/hack the Sisters needed!

Surprisingly nowadays lots of Amiga lovers don't know about this great unofficial remake, so I was happy to do some little gameplay coupled with my own Retroarch Amiga overlays and the new Death To Pixel Arcade Sharp preset by Cyberlab based off HSM Mega Bezel Reflection Shader.

Having great fun with the new graphics from the DS version and new sound fx, too bad for the (original) floaty physics and no run button, otherwise it would really be the ideal clone of the Italian plumber

The new gfx are pretty nice. I wish the same improvement would have gone into the music

I kind of enjoy that 8-bit chiptune style. The main problem is that this amount of repetition makes your ears bleed.

Pixelglass certainly know how to make good ports. I really like their port of Raid Over Moscow. It was one of my favourite games on the C64.

Experimental Amiberry / A500 mini release. Some notes:

- Includes AGA intro scene as a separate LHA file
- Includes save files configured with autocrop etc
- File names are labelled CD32 in order to unlock Amiberry's CD32 capabilities automatically without needing an update of the whdload_db.xml file (in particular, AGA for the intro and CD32 pad second fire jump for the game)
- Interlacing looks really bad on the main title screen, not sure if that's fixable

https://mega.nz/file/MqITTQDQ#wImAds...mfdtZdLLb3B2jI

If there's no issues with it, I'll ask Hungry Horace to add the package details to the official Amiberry whdload_db.xml file

Thanks for testing it out, BigD!

I haven't had any problems myself and it seems to work fine on the A500 Mini if it has the 1.1 USB update, I'll post it officially to the PixelGlass website sometime soon.
