Dopus 4 making an unzip button
Hey guys
It's been a few years since I messeda round with dopus 4, but i'm trying to setup my system and a few of the files are zipped. Instead of constantly using the shell, i tried to setup a button in Dopus. But no matter what I try, it will not unzip the archives. If anyone has this working, would they mind posting the command for the botton. |

Perhaps https://forum.amiga.org/index.php?topic=40725.0 helps. I think mostly I downloaded a config from Aminet and edited it if needed....Well, late...

You should not create separate UnZip, UnLhA and UnLZX buttons - create one "Extract" button instead, which extracts all sorts of archives:
While editing the button, don't make it invoke "AmigaDOS: unlzx..." or anything like that. Instead make it invoke "Command: User1". Then you make sure you have a proper filetype for each archive format you want to be able to extract. Edit each filetype, select "User1" in the "Events..." area, then configure this event to use the actual AmigaDOS command to extract this particular archive. Now you have an "Extract" button that works with any archive formats you have configured. You can use the same approach to have an "Edit" button, which loads text files into a text editor, ILBM files into DPaint and Mods into Protracker. That's the beauty of the UserX command in DOpus. |

It's about unpacking archives you can also not use the Dopu4 keys if you install the "xfdmaster" package with a click you can transform an LHA/LZX/ZIP Archive etc.. in a Directory, see video
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1l_g...4hwRcYNJH/view With Dopus4 you can also unzip ADF and DMS floppy images: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_11...xzqdLrj8I/view |

Hello,
Am looking for an unzip option for Dopus and found this. Unfortunately I do not understand the setup way here only videos are shown from ADF and above also entry of LHA zip. How do I set up that for example ADF unzip goes. Then it says that you should set up only one button " Arc Ex " But how ? Who would be nice if one could explain here step by step. Thanks |
