Dune 2 hd installation help.

hi guys, i'm pretty new to the amiga and im after some advicei have whdload installed on my a1200 but when i play dune 2 it plays fine untill ive finished the first mission; once i put my name in on the hall of fame and press enter two options appear of delete names or continue game, when this happens my mouse cursor muves about but when i click on either option nothing happens and it wont let me continue.

i also have the original copy of the floppy disks and when i get to the hall of fame screen it works fine and lets me continue.

so i thought id try to install it to the hard drive and play from there; so when i click install on the work bench screen i get a message saying "enter path to install dune 2" and i have no idea what i should type in.

could some one please tell me what to do from here, like i say i'm a complete n00b when it comes to this type of thing so i need to be told in plain English/child like.

thanks in advance.

if installing with the normal disk, you need to enter your harddrive path. Normally Dh0

Create a new drawer in your HD root first. For instance, call it d2 (you can rename/move later). The install will actually copy files to the path you will enter, so if you don't create a drawer, you will have files scattered on the root of the hard disk.

Then at the install prompt, type dh0:d2

If you don't know it, you can check the hard disk path by using Multiview (or any other application that allow you to open/save a file). At the open/save prompt, click on Volumes. You can then see the disk path (between parentheses).
