From a technical point of view, storing the entire level as a scrolling bitmap means you’ll need an Amiga from 2050 to run it.

Absolutely crazy.

The Rygar engine could be stripped down very easy to run Green Beret on A500.

I did think about doing it but then it looks like others are sizing it up.
I did not know that

Mind you, I try not to keep up to date with Johnny's shenanigans

Neither do I, and I'm kicking myself where I got it from... I think it might have popped up in my youtube list or something.

Nothing will come of it though.

What!? He keeps the entire level in memory as a bitmap? For a tile based game designed to run on 8-bit HW?
Ehhhh, okay. Well, good luck with that!

Even CU Amiga (or perhaps it was Amiga Format, I forget) had a much better scrolling routine for AMOS than that
