How to get power switch on tower work?

I'm building a custom tower but am stuck. How do I get the power button to work with my ATX PSU? The power button only makes a short when pushed. When I release the buton the PSU turns off.

Thanks
Volt.

ATX PSU uses Pin 13 (power on) and 14 (ground) for power up ... these need to be shortened to work !

Best option is a new (older) button that fits in your tower and shortens the pins permanently ...

Guess the only way would be to use an ATX adapter like on this page :

Or swap out the switch for a locking one, such as a turbo switch from an older PC tower.

Measure the size of button you need, and search for latched power button switch on ebay.

Got one when replaced PSU on my A4000D as the original one drove me nuts, as it is very noisy.
A new PSU quieted down it considerably.

I also used the ATX adaptor for this purpose, and cut of the switch that was there, as it didn't fit the case.

Did the same with my A4000T, as the switch that was there, was damaged.
