Help name a game!
I saw an ad for a new gfx card at the time, early 90's, maybe a cybervision or picasso, it was in either CU Amiga or Amiga Format.
It had a screenshot of a karate game, boasted in 1000's of colours. What is the game and is there a youtube longplay video or place I can download it? Thanks! |

Defo not, it was more like two men, large characters and in karate suits.

That's the one! Much appreciated guys! Anyone played it?
Was the Opal any good or just extends the colours used? e.g. vs cybervision and picasso96? @Predseda I have never seen the second page of the ad, just the first. Made me drool when I was a kid, an A4000 with that installed! EDIT: links to it are via hol at the bottom. I may download it and upload it to youtube as the video is videoed via cam! BBOAH: The opalvision is a 24bit chunky display buffer for the Amiga which connects to the video slot. It uses the BT433KPJ35 chipset. Software available for the Opalvision include; Opalpaint: a 24 bit paint and image manipulation package, Opal Presents: presentation software and OpalAnimate: an animation player supporting 8, 12, 15, 18 and 24bit playback. Although the card is not an RTG card, serveral 3rd party products allow you to use the Opalvision as a display device, for example the Emplant board. The Opalvision uses a 23pin RGB connector which is similar to the Amiga's native monitor connector which makes it easy to use the same monitors, genlocks and composite encoders. Various expansions were made for the Opalvision including a Video Processor and Video Suite. A TBC was also planned, but was never released
