Winuae on a Sony BVM, jerky scrolling

Hi. I tried running winuae on my Sony BVM 20E1E the other day. Where my real Amigas run fine at 50hz; when i try Winuae there's stuttering. On 60hz its silky smooth?

Im running this though VGA to bnc on an old PC.

In understand this happening on a standard 60hz modern flat screen monitor but how comes it happens on the bvm when i can play PAL machines with no problems?

Im only using winuae for certain cd games that wont run on my A1200 squirrel cd rom drive so its not super important, i'm just curious to why 50hz doesn't have smooth scrolling?

cheers

P.s. What is the correct resolution to run standard amiga games on winuae? i read somewhere that it was 640x512 but i cant find that in the list? thanks

Are you running 50Hz screen mode on PC?
Is emulated Amiga set to PAL?

Perhaps VGA to BNC converter messes refresh rates?

OCS PAL Amiga does 640x512 at most, so 800x600 should handle most cases.

VGA is usually min 56Hz by default. Try creating custom resolution using GPU control panel software.

640x512 is too small because there is no standard for centered image. Unless you only use WB.
