Arcade Pool v1.01 not supported?

Have 2 dumps of Arcade Pool v1.01 (Actually says v1.01 at the bottom of the credits screen) which will not install as a CT RAW in WHDLoad as the imager complains track 79.0 is bad.

In fact tracks 79.0 / 79.1 do not contain a valid PDOS track at all (unlike IPF #0298 which does) but has junk on one dump and is unformatted on the other!

The installer readme says two floppy versions are supported but not my v1.01, Denis says his v1.01 dump also has no PDOS tracks on 79.0 / 79.1 as well.

Have reported this via the WHDLoad page for JOTD's Arcade Pool installer!

That's good news

Would be interesting to know why it still tries to load data off 79.0 / 79.1 and if it matters they are not PDOS?

Does the game try to save data there or maybe it was setup for saving data or maybe as it was an out of house game, maybe the original plan was for a track 79 based protection.

Seems deliberate, because when you prepare a PDOS disk, the entire disk gets formatted with the required key, I dont think there is an option to not include track 79

The game uses track 1.0 / 1.1 for saves which are ADOS.

I've put a CT RAW in the ZONE of v1.01 for you to check if you can, and see why it accesses track 79!!

It's simply because the PDOS loader doesn't stop on track 78, but track 79.

There is no official IPF of v1.01? I uploaded a CT RAW of v1.01 to The Zone though: ArcadePoolv1.01.zip
