golden image mouse

It died, and no its not the wire, i am pretty sure its the sensor for the scroll wheel to move up and down went bunk. its like a light sensor.

what are are my options.
what are views on this?

Have one of those, works a treat on my 1200! Use it with a usb -> ps/2 adapter so I can use my modern Logitech mouse. Now I really can't see myself going back to a horrible horrible mechanical mouse, even though I have an NIB Amiga mouse
