uhh.... while the price itself might be a bargain (if you like obsolete quipment that is), the eur 30,- shipping is quite a price tag...

i already know that 5 people are following the auction.

there is 2 english books and the BIG manuel is in FRENCH. You can attach 3.5" drives,
5.25" one. The guy has duplicated 1 million disks with this machine for copy protected
disk from AKAI.

hmmm... that's sad (because an english manual would help for sure... at least for the vast majority).

anyway... is there any chance we can get to know what the other two manuals are for?

Congrats... but... I assume the freeform scripts for many of the protections used are not included because they differ from disk to disk.

Anyway, I am curious... keep us posted!

OK, i got the TRACE machine today It's a TRACE 3 machine. Able to do Atari ST, Amiga, C64 and PC (3,5" and 5.25").

Mine doesn't use UNIX, for describing formats, you must use a PC with MS-dos.

It uses parameter files like Powercopy does And it features a blind copy called Quick
Copy, with allows copy protected softwares to be mastered

I launch first try this afternoon !
