Battle Isle

is it possible to play a computer controlled opponent in the game? it only lets me select "human vs human" - but as there's an option for that i assume i should be allowed to play a computer....
(oh, and it freezes when i press spacebar after taking my turn with 2 human players on fellow + uae)
