Pinball Dreams & Fantasies - 8 Table Loader!

Hi all!

I had a difficult time a while back locating this 8 Table All in one pack, and the first few i tried were corrupt.

I finally found a working version not long ago and would like to know if anyone wants it?? I can upload it to the zone if necessary!

Han.

Edit- I have uploaded this to the zone for anyone who wants it.
This can also be found on the magix ftp server under Commodore_Amiga/Game/Archive/.
It's also best to extract the lzx file in a real amiga environment!

So what does this exactly do? Do you have screenshots?

Hi! It's a custom menu to quickly load any of the tables from both pinball dreams and fantasies of the hd.

You don't need to watch the intros or anything, each table only takes about 2-3secs to load. It also contains a built in hall of fame.

I have attached a pic of the menu for you!

If I remember correctly it's just simple table menu without music, title screen or credits.

Very cool, thanks.
Kinda wish they made a proper compilation on CD for CD32! Kin of a missed opportunity :/

Closest thing is the Pinball collection on Gameboy Advance, with all 4 tables of Dreams and Illusions. Love that one, only reason I keep a GBA around

Glad you like it guys and happy to share something rare, but credit has to go to the original authors TML!

What i like most about this loader, is that i can boot up WB and load a table within 15secs! Also i'm not sure who TML are, does anyone else know who they were?

Pinball dreams was mine and my brothers favorite amiga game and he was very good at it back in the day.
Then a few weeks ago he had a go of Steel Wheels on my A600 and he managed a score of 39million! Not bad considering he hadn't played it for 15yrs!!

Is there a Hall Of Fame on EAB for the pinball games? If not we should start one up and use this 8table loaded as a basis.

Han.

Very useful piece of code.. I had this on my A1200 back in the early 90's... I wonder if I transferred it to my A4000 when I got that back then.. Gotta take a look when I get home ;-)

Last edited by amigoun; 08 February 2015 at 17:29. Reason: Works on minimig with max chipram

There's a Pinball Hall of Fame at lemonamiga and it's still open. http://www.lemonamiga.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5975

btw: I haven't seen you at gp32x for a while. Is your Caanoo still running?

Hi mate. That's some crazy high scores over there at lemon, only thing is i'm not a member at lemon so maybe we could start a pinball hof here at EAB!

And Cpt, i haven't been in the gp2x forums for a while, as it seemed to die out last year. Is there still a lot of activity there? I do still check out openhandhelds now and then to see if any new caanoo software has been released, but that's been fairly quite for a while now to.

And yes my caanoo is still running fine, i have a 32gb card in it loaded up with pretty much every game the emulators support.
Did you know me or use the same name over at gp2x cpt?

Han.

PM? Maybe Akira is interested as well, so I'll post them here. It's quite hard to find some entries after gp32x was updated.

PCSX Rearmed: http://www.gp32x.com/board/index.php...-2#entry968378

GPSP: http://www.gp32x.com/board/index.php...5-gpsp-report/
