Resurrecting this thread to see what the current status is of i2c.library support? The main reason I'm asking is that I've developed a clockport board that includes an I2C host, and I'm wondering whether support for it could be added to the existing i2c.library, or if I should just develop my own library with a compatible API? My ASM isn't particularly great, but it looks like the library source linked on Github above hasn't been updated to include support for the clockport adaptor.
