Has anyone had any issues with getting this working? Not the original version on an AGA machine, i mean the AGA version, i have tried it on three different machines, and cant get it working, EOB I AGA, works just fine.

have you used pre-installed version (many new files needed)?

HAve you installed fonts/ and Libs/ (https://aminet.net/package/util/libs/westwoodtool) in your systems?

What is your configs?

Have you use WHDLOAD's version or just launch EOB2-AGA main executable file?

i cant be sure what version i am using, i am pretty sure it's pre installed, as there is no installation file to run

Yes, all fonts and libs are in place.

I am just clicking on the AGA executable, not using WHDLoad version, i am just using WB 3.1, nothing fancy. i have tried it on a V1200 and TF1260 and it's not running, maybe i don't have the right version of EOB II, although from DOS Box it runs fine.

The files from the FTP site have password encryption?

only the source code archives use a password because I don't distribute them freely at the moment (I want to try one day to clean them up a bit and fix some known bugs before...)

I don't understand the problem.

what exactly happens when you run EOB2-AGA?

Can you log files and libraries accesses using SNOOPDOS while launching the game and post the LOG file to see if I find anything wrong?

got it working.

i downloaded the game from a different source and it's working fine, i knew the problem would be user error.

badly code and file structures are completly differents.

Lands of lore is probably more easy to adapt using EOB engine.

Well, maybe EOB III could be adapted through the EOB II engine......
by adapting the data files to the engine ?

Land of Lore, yep, ah if only the westwood guy could lend you the PC source code, we could adapt the x86 code to 68000.....
