Modland web-based interface
Modland is a very large, and well organised module archive created and maintained by Coma (Daniel Johansson) (main site/mirror), which contains over 360,000 music modules in 290 different formats.
In partnership with Modland, ExoticA now provides a web based interface to the collection, which allows browsing of the modules by name, author and format as well as a simple search facility. Please do try it out! |

It's a very good thing to have a frontend for Modland
Nice work there BuZz Only thing I noticed is when you use FireFox and try to save a file via 'Save target as' it adds '.htm' to the file. It works fine with IE. |

That one isnt my fault. Firefox i guess isn't looking at the content-disposition headers when doing save-as (I assume)

firefox 3 on my machine seems to work fine with save link as btw. Maybe it is already fixed ?
Also if you configure firefox to always ask you where to save files, then a single click should work fine. |

Just checked it and it seems that only mod files are associated with a Quicktime plugin. Works fine (the one click method) with all other filetypes. So it was just my fault. Thanks for your help BuZz

Just to add the web interface now supports searching the instrument texts as well as displaying of instrument/sample data for soundtracker/protracker/fasttracker (mod format) and fasttracker2 (xm). oh and it can search credit information for playsid tunes too.
