I have installed the game on A1200 configuration and it works very good.
The game is HD only in AGA config. ECS and OCS you cannot install it. I tried now and installer don't work.

If you have A1200 and HD, you put disk 2 on boot that after a while ask you to put in DF0: an empy disk to create a Install disk.

Reboot your A1200 from HD and then put this Install disk on DF0: and start installation.

Now you can play with Tower Assault AGA.

but the ipf's can be played on AGA without install anything

so, i got correctly that due the disk data oversize, a working AGA adf set cannot be made?

you can install the game on hard drive in AGA, for the OCS ECS you need the fixed installer for the cracked version.

i finally understood the correct way to make the [cr DLT] floppy version work on AGA
i mean just using disks
this seems the only working .adf version btw

after the boot with disk1, the game stops on the Team17 logo, and you must insert disk4 to continue the loading
after a short load, the game will request again disk1
then another disk change, and finally the main menu

nope
atm i'm testing/playing under emulation
but at same time preparing a working adf set, to play asap on real hardware

in another location (my hometown), i have a default A500 (+0.5MB) and a default A1200

but i'm reading in the game manual atm :

"LOADING TOWER ASSAULT

(AMIGA) To load Tower Assault, simply place disk one in you internal drive
and turn on the machine, or perform a reset by the [Ctrl] & both [A] keys.

Swap disk when prompted to so on screen. Tower Assault will recognise the
external disk drives."

and this last phrase seems not true at all, the game seems using just df0
tested with winUAE and OCS,ECS and AGA settings here, and original ipf's

someone could check on real hardware?
