New game vs Final Fight

As detailed in this link I'm preparing to stop an Amiga remake of Final Fight completely if there is enough interest in a new game based on the engine. I would however require help with this so please get in contact if interested

How about making a BOR (Beats of Rage) clone for Amiga? You can use your engine and make it easy to mod it.

I vote for finish Final Fight and then build a new game on the framework or even create a contstruction kit!

Please finish Final Fight. If you could make it like the arcade version (MAME) that would be awesome!

The work to make the full Final Fight conversion is huge! I doubt that one person can do it. If the conversion is half finished I would not be happy about it.

I think most reasonable one new game more modest in content like Motor Head.

I say "both". Complete FF and then start working on the new game based on the same engine.

I would really like FF AGA and completing the project might help you, when you come to make your're own original game...

but it's really up to you, if you did FF AGA as a PoC, but have lost heart in it or would prefer to do your own original game... it worth dropping it now rather than later?

I am going learn blitz... as much as I like AmosPro, blitz seems more powerful, I wouldn't mind helping out on an original project, either coding, pixel art or tracker music

Although completely different from your engine, I have looking at doing a WoW clone (well using the combat mechanics), with top down view (like zelda, chaos engine), of course no multi-player (amongst other things)
