External Gotek No power
So I have dug out my A500, noticed that my external Gotek no longer powers up, tried two cables and the result is the same.
Tested gotek as internal drive, all is fine. So.....assuming that the disk drive port is somehow the cause of the issue.....can these ports be replaced? any fault finding I could do to try and find the exact cause of the issue. Im no Amiga expert, but....I do work in IT and have managed to bung a TF 536 in this, do the 1Mb chip ram botch and fit the DF0 selector mod. |

Sounds like blown power fuses on the port. Test if the port is delivering 5V and 12V, I think it is pin 11 and 23.

It's actually pins 12 & 23 ~ these are not fused on the Amiga side
