Idcmp_diskinserted/removed
My program watches for IDCMP_DISKINSERTED and IDCMP_DISKREMOVED. I noticed that when a floppy is inserted I first get a REMOVED then INSERTED. When remove I only get REMOVED. Is this normal behavior? Beta18 OS4.1FE.

That probably doesn't have anything to do with WinUAE. Do you still get an IDCMP_DISKREMOVED if you insert a disk into an empty floppy drive? (As opposed to changing the currently-inserted disk image in WinUAE settings.)

Confirmed. Whenever a disk is inserted, you get both REMOVED and INSERTED messages. When a disk is removed you get only REMOVED.
I am sure this has nothing to do with WinUAE. You should report it on the Hyperion forum. Note that it only happens for floppy disks, not for CDs. |

I always start with an empty floppy drive. Start my program. F12 and select ADF. OK. REMOVED then INSERTED every time.
F12. Eject. OK. REMOVED. Like it should be. I will double check if already an image inserted, then swap, if get 2 REMOVED signals later tonight. |

When I swap disks, I get REMOVED, REMOVED, INSERTED.
