Its quite hard to know what to say in threads like this. I think people tend avoid them for that reason.

I dont know Belgarath, but as other have posted, im sorry to hear about your loss.

Belgarath, my thoughts are with you at this extremely difficult time..

I had to go through the pain 6 months ago when my dad suddenly passed away, and I was unable to grieve initially as I had the funeral to organize.

I felt numb and I had to remain strong for others, I cannot imagine how you feel losing your beloved wife.

In time things will become easier, and you will be able to get yourself back on track, even though things will never be the same again!

Take your time and make sure you find some time for yourself and your family. Come back when you are ready. We will be here when you feel ready to return, and if you ever need a chat I'm a PM away.

Take care buddy

Mark

All my sincerest condolences to you and your family. I can feel with you because a few weeks ago a friend of mine was gone from us too.

"I saw a new heaven and a new earth. For the first heaven and the first earth was gone: and the sea is now no more. And I, John, saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice from the throne, saying: Behold the tabernacle of God with men: and he will dwell with them. And they shall be his people: and God himself with them shall be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and death shall be no more. Nor mourning, nor crying, nor sorrow shall be any more, for the former things are passed away. And he that sat on the throne, said: Behold, I make all things new. And he said to me: Write. For these words are most faithful and true."
(Apocalypse 21, 1-5)

My condolences to you and your family.

May you have my condolences too, old chap

It was always extremely hard to get any real-life information out of you (no one knew your birthday, so no one could congratulate you, no one even knows your real first name; for me you've always been a mysterious person inside a protective casing that effectively blocked ANY personal information from getting outside :รพ), but of course it is sad that I have to get the information that way.

But it was probably better to keep the issue about your wife top-secret all those years and months, for it would have attracted too many false helpers or blabbers instead of benefitting you too much in that situation ...

May she rest in peace.
