Legend of Kyrandia AGA?

It's really awesome that we got AGA versions of Eye of the Beholder and Eye of the Beholder II. I don't know the details, but apparently it was found that it was semi-easy to hack 8bpp graphics into Westwood's engine. If the person who worked on them is still reading here, maybe they could elaborate on the functions they patched to push 8bpp vs 5bpp around?

I've always wondered if this could be expanded to Legend of Kyrandia since they are based on the same codebase. When they went to implement Kyrandia into ScummVM they discovered that it was pretty trivial to get EoB1+2 working as well. Maybe it would be possible to use the same techniques that made EoB1+2 AGA to make a native AGA version of Legend of Kyrandia?

Legend of Kyrania is supported by ScummVM, so you can easily play "more colors" version of it with AGA Amiga.

You can even write a script wich makes ScummVM invisible to users.

I won't say that this is exactly the same... ScummVM AGA recquires a 68030 and 32mb fast RAM. Not exactly a basic AGA configuration (you can forget to play it on the CD32 for example. And not all the A1200 owner match this configuration.)
