No devices from old HDD is showing up

Help! I have connect a old HDD to my Amiga 4000. The HDD doesn't show up in neither Early Amiga Startup or no devices are showing up when doing the command info in Shell.

BUT, when I start HDToolBox it shows up as a second harddrive besides my CF-card. I can go into it and I see all the partitions and devices names.

Why is it this way? How to fix it? I REALLY need to backup it because it's important data on it and it's very old!

Please help!

I guess in HDToolbox the CF card shows as changed. Save changes and reboot.

I have successfully copied the harddrive to the Amiga!

Next question; Is there a good tool/program on Amiga to RAW copy it to a harddrive file or HDF (with partitons, even custom ones). And can it also be mountable in like WinUAE?

If you connect the drive to your PC, WinUAE can mount it. WinUAE also has a "create harddisk image file" option which creates a RAW copy / HDF of it.

If you want to create the image file on the Amiga, TSGUI is one program which can do it.
