Thank you my friend for your hard work . I discovered many good games with your collection!
That's great news

This is really the whole point of my collection; experiencing new, fun, decent games... along with access to all the old classics.

Trust me, it's been a joyful world of discovery for me too over the past 15+ years

One thing you haven't got in common Chip is UPDATES. This has put me off downloading your collection!

Here is the second part of "Update Pack #40"

Details are as follows:

2 game updates:
... Super Wormy - The Worm-Like Snake
... The Keys to Maramon

2 game deletions:
... Bo Jackson Baseball
(no point having this as it's just the American version of "TV Sports Baseball")
... Denaris (replaced with "Katakis" as everyone always asks "Why haven't you added Katakis to your collection?")

1 configuration update:
... Alien Breed II - The Horror Continues [AGA].uae

4 title / sshot updates:
... Alien Breed II - The Horror Continues [AGA]
... Bubble and Squeak
... Bubble and Squeak [AGA]
... Buck Rogers XXVc - Countdown to Doomsday

3 new "cheats / hints / level codes / manuals / maps / walkthroughs" additions:
... Bubble and Squeak [AGA]
... Swords & Galleons
... Warlords

12 new game additions:

Code:
B-Noid [AGA]
Chess Simulator
DreamStream
Katakis
Springtime
Squigs
Summer Olympix [CD32]
Swords & Galleons
ThinkAMania
Warlords
When Two Worlds War
When Two Worlds War [AGA]
This now brings the total number of games in my collection to 3100

...never in a million years did I think I'd make it to "Update Pack #40"; that's 800 new games since the public release roughly 2 years and 7 months ago

Anyway, PMs will be sent out later today

I guess in the next few days I should upload the "Base install plus Update Packs #1 - 40 incorporated"

...luckily only 2 weeks ago my house was upgraded to a full cable connection with Hyperoptic; and it absolutely flies

Friggin' hell

...just testing the latest "Update Pack" one final time after upload; as I always do.

Slight mistake with the configuration file for Squigs; needed to set a resolution of 720x576.

I did this in my tests but forgot to change the final configuration file

Anyway, just download / extract this file into "C:\WinUAE".

Well, it was called Bo Jackson Baseball because Cinemaware (who made the TV Sports games) went out of business and sold the game to Data East (who decided they wanted a 'star' to help sales).

I updated your collection Damien with latest Winuae. Now when I load a configuration it shows floppies placed correctly but the games don`t load. If I go back into floppy setup the drives are empty. I have to manually put each floppy into its relevant drive to get the game to run. What have I done? Is there a simple fix? Sorry if this has been covered before, I can`t find anything in previous posts.

I don't think this has anything to do with updating WinUAE

Sounds to me that you're highlighting a game, and then clicking "Start"...

Anyway, always better to just double-click on a highlighted game as it's a quicker process

I found my issue. I installed your collection to an external hard drive. Everything works fine from that. I copied the directory to my internal storage drive and updated Winuae to make sure it worked. Its a Game dir location issue. i have to resave the config for each game with floppies inserted from the new location. Paths does not show Game dir location. Is there a workaround?

Update:

Selecting Portable Mode in Paths sorted things.

I think you just need to go to paths in winuae and set it to Winuae default (EXE Directory) Should be a INI or reg file which should sort it too.

Heya RunsilenT,

I'm trying to wrap my head around what happened here.

Updating WinUAE; or moving the collection to a USB drive, or another hard drive letter, or even renaming the WinUAE directory won't cause issues as I've used relative paths for everything:

Are you using the registry or .INI file? Sounds like which ever one got corrupted somehow on your system.

Anyway, as enigma776 mentioned, reapplying one of these from this post should fix your issue.

All the "Base install plus Update Packs #1 - 40 incorporated" parts have now been uploaded

Big difference... on my old connection it would have taken 60+ hours to upload the 23.2GB. On my new connection it took 2 hours and 10 minutes

PM me if interested
