okay go find DMS on Aminet

Put blank floppy in internal drive DF0:

from shell/cli do the following:

DMS WRITE Drive:Path/Filename

it'll write to the floppy

If the DMS or floppy are damaged it will fail!

I am not sure but WizARC might support DMS. This is the best unarchiver GUI I have used.

Hope it helps!

Also a good Dopus4 config is simple to use

If you want I can create you a standard Dopus4 config with full DMS support

you are extracting a normal dms file?

Filename.DMS

I'll create the Dopus4 config later, can you goto aminet and download Dopus4 and install it.

I'll supply the DMS exe too

yep i'm extracting dms file from backtoroots archives (they'r normal .dms). The fact is i got the dms.run file (v1.11 classic) on aminet as u said but do i need to push it in a workbench folder or keep it that way(i mean in any folder)?

The BlitzDms console window open a window & tell me:
unpacking file: dms-ok!
unpacking file: dms.doc-ok!
unpacking file: readme.txt-ok!
unpacking file: update.doc-ok!

..but it's not writing to the dfo disk !!

howether megathanx for helping me with dopus config . I'll install this & see !!

dms-tun un packs its contents into the C: directory if Im correct. This installs the necessary binaries for compressing/decompresssing dms files in your amiga. this is NOT the decompresser itself.

I think MUIUnArc unpacks DMS files also.
