Battle Island Cheat

While reading one of other topics, made me wonder if cheat for Battle Island would be possible - something like invincibility cheat and/or unlimited depot cheat. Was thinking to contact wepl, but then I am not sure how active is he, wonder if someone else from WHDLoad team can create and add cheat to the install, or perhaps if there can be ADF cheat.

You are probably talking about a trainer. Wouldn't that make the game really boring though? And I mean as boring as watching the game play itself?

Sure.... but with trainer I might actually finish it, this way usually I give up around level 7.

If you are willing to cheat your way through a strategy game and call that "finishing it" (tsk tsk), maybe just look at a Youtube video to maybe get some ideas on how to complete the more difficult levels?

Did not even know that there was longplay. Sure, this would work if I had time to study it.

It's over 30 years, probably should try to solve it on my own (again), but soon as level becomes huge, this game takes way too much time... something I don't have a lot.

At this point I don't care about using cheat / trainer to finish it... no different with any other genre of games...

Possibly support for it will be added to MCE at some point, then it will be easy to maximize your armies and/or edit the world as needed to give yourself any desired advantage... :-D

I believe if you input the level code for a level, you can then swap the player and computer sides. That will let you play the same level but with a huge amount of troops

Hey Weasel Fierce and all!

In between nothing and cheat codes, check out my Wiki page in which I explain the strategies that I used to finish it

Enjoy!

Nice! Thanks for sharing. Its interesting that your strategy seems to match mine in some levels and not in others.

Since I played Historyline first, building Angels and then bunkering down around them always seems like a viable option!

Indeed!

If you could, maybe share your strategies as well so we can compare and have options

Cheers!

As far as I can remember you can easily hex edit the map files to change values.
