Another problem i have is converting icons ,i was trying to convert suse icons and bill`s Xp icons Im pressing print Screen and then coverting to 256 colour then resizeing page to 320,200 this then messes up the icons making them to pixely?

convert the windows icons in png and then in iff files, then get to amiga side and convert them in the desired format using one of the available program on aminet

The problem is converting them for workbech at 640-256 no-interlace and keeping the quily high and correct aspec ratio is this possible

Oh for converting Windows .ico to Amiga .info there is a tool avaible in the contrib folder of OS 3.9 BoingBag 2 (surprisingly named ico2info). You can probably find it on Aminet aswell.

yeah wouldn't mind some 8colour folder icons for Workbench.

don't like the 'drawer' icon sets kinda got the cravings for Macintosh system 1-7 folder type icons at the moment
