Graphics corruption in Batman vuelve (demo)

The demo advances without problem to the segment shown above, then the glitch occurs, resulting in the spiral and background music looping forever without actually progressing any further.

Same specs and configuration as specified in this thread.

Using the A500 most common quickstart and moving the compatibility slider to the far right (low compatibility) fixes the problem. If you're not using quickstart activate 'Immediate Blitter' for the chipset.

Edit : Indeed Sting
Really nice demo btw!

Use standard A500 config, 68000, 512k chip, 512k slow and it should work then.

Edit: Posted together with TCD

Interesting, less compatible is actually more compatible

Thanks for the hint.

That's a sweet demo, not seen it in ages plus I'd not let it run thru as I thought it was just going to be more Batman shots so missed the rest of the demo.

Doh!

I too missed it for exactly the same reasons, in fact I didn't get to watch the whole thing until past 1999

In case there's any interest left, the latest beta allows the demo to run past the spiral and up to the wireframe batman mask without enabling Immediate Blitter. Not a 100% perfect but one hell of an improvement nonetheless

"Now some important spanish messages" part takes too much raster time. (causing wireframe to start too late and waiting forever for frame counter position that was already passed before the part started..)

This should be nice compatibility testing demo...

Some 68k cycle count fixes and now it works. (but still does not fix other problematic demos)
