Selling Hundreds of 3.5" Floppy Disks
Approximately 200 have been Amiga Formatted (using X-Copy Po) with no bad sectors, and approximately 300 disks I will sell at a cheaper price due to not being formatted (having programs on - mainly magazine coverdisks etc but many I have made adf back to original disk and added a smart new label - so 70% are far from tatty and actually look like brand new disks).
I will post this officially the weekend, but just wanted to see if anyone out there would be interested in buying them either in bulk or in small packs of 20 etc. I am UK so was thinking about listing the formatted disks at 4p (0.07usd) per disk, and the unformatted at 2p (0.03usd) per disk... does this sound about right? Postage would range from cheap for say 20, to quite high if buying 100 or more (uk postage around £6 to ship 100+ disks). Anyway, just wanted to see if there was any demand for disks, as I know most people emulate the amiga. Just hoping a few of you out there do still enjoy converting adf's to real floppy and experiencing the amiga 1st hand! Should I sell them or just bin them? Comments please! ![]() |

Yep thats kinda what I was thinking.... I'll see if I get many interested posts before the weekend, but if not then I'll either bin them or post them for free just posting fees.

You could see if you can sell them, someone may buy them. Like DDNI I have loads of floppys hanging around and use WHDLOAD. I transfer them using a network from my PC to Amiga.

Yep adgloride, that's what I used to do, have to say that as time goes by the emulators get more and more exact, but when I first started porting games and utils back from adf to real disk it was the only way to get everything 100%... certainly kept me busy porting all my favourite amiga games and programs to disk, became a bit of an anorak
![]() (still amazed to see quite a few old amiga gems are still around and re-living in GBA incarnation, ie Alfred Chicken, IK+, Mr.Nutz etc). As I said, my amiga love is hard to kill!... so if by the weekend no-one wants to buy them, how about just for the postage? Failing that I'll either wallpaper a wall in my games room with them (...now there's an idea!), or bin them. |

I have 100's of new blank DD disks (plus 100's of HD 3.5" and dd 5.25") just so I can make usable disks when needed. The majority get used for hardware drivers on my machines.
