ZII Scandoubler for A4000

I am looking for a ZII scandoubler for my A4000. I have an external SD ATM, but I prefer an internal ZII solution(will be a fine addition to my CV64 display). Anyone having one that would like to sell?

Most (all?) SD/FF used the video slot, not a Zorro slot. But, finding one of those now is going to be tough. You do have an option of the DCE Scan Magic internal. I use one on my A1200 and it works very well.

Yes, most of them used the video slot of big box Amigas. There were a few that were made for A4000 like the Arxon scandoubler. It's tough to find them, but they are much better than any internal scan doubler. It is difficult to find though. I was looking for a CV64 3d scandoubler (it works on its own) but these are impossible to find!

Actually, the Arxon uses the video slot also. Good luck on your quest. I'd suggest posting an add on amibench.

Some screenmodes may not pass through properly, but if you have a disable switch on the SD/FF (as the C= 2320 does on later revisions) then you shouldn't have any problems.

The Big Book of Amiga Hardware has a great section on SD/FFs:

A friend of mine managed to get me an Arxon scandoubler (rev 1.1) from eBay in Germany for only 12.50 euros.
