Decided to try League of Legends by Riot Games. I played another game by this studio, I am talking about Valorant, and I liked it so much that decided eventually to give LoL a go. It is about a week I have been playing it and can say that LoL is definitely worth it when it is particularly difficult to pass I use this service https://skycoach.gg/lol-boost being th most dependable among the likes.

All Far Cry games are repetitive, including the first one. The gameplay loop is exactly the same, from start to finish. This is no different for Doom Eternal either. Repetition is the name of most games.

That is not the defining factor of what makes or breaks a game. Even if gameplay is repetitive, if the game plays smooth as silk and provides you a large amount of challenge, you're not going to notice that repetition. That is where Far Cry 3,4 and for a large part 5 tend to drop the ball; they're way too easy! I'm pretty sure that drop in difficulty is a direct response to how poorly Far Cry 2 was received which is even more difficult than Far Cry 1. So then you have to be like me, and enjoy blowing stuff up

There's a pretty good patch collection MEUITM, replacing ME1 with ME3 assets (and more stuff). The first game suffered from being early generation, lots of flat normal maps.

I think you're onto something there. Challenge is quite the factor that keeps us coming back in order to prove ourselves. I guess all games - from Skyrim to Mortal Kombat - are repetitive. It's up to each player to see which type of repetition gels with them.

I do hope you enjoy it. It's my pick of the franchise and one of my favourite games ever.

I don't think so.

They may influence your 'romantic' options

Booted up Syndicate on my 1200 and have been playing for the last few hours. Still a great concept after all these years. I didn't fully appreciate just how dark the game was as a daft kid when I first played it.

I have been playing the CD32 version on my 1200 - not sure if this is the best version?? Also not sure what the craic is playing CD32 games on whdload fullstop?

Anyhow what a game.

Syndicate is one of those games I have fonder memories of than the game deserves. If you judge it playing 5 missions - sure, great game. If you judge it having played say three quarters of the available missions... it's like drinking lukewarm cola that has gone flat. It still has some taste, but the bubbles have been replaced with miniguns and swarms of terminator agents that magically smell where you are when you are a screen and a half away from them. Stand in front of a lengthy wall, wait for agents to pop around the corner like suicide maniacs, shoot in bursts until they drop. Rinse and repeat. What challenge is left is navigating the rather terrible isometric perspective to get to your target(s) whom they love to hide inside buildings...
