About T-Zer0 demo WHDload

I must admit I was surprised you made this patch, Psygore. Main reason would be because you patched a lot of classics from the first and second waves of Amiga hits.
I lied about not liking T_Zer0 in itself . The game is fine, it's just that I don't like (but hold no grudge against) the fact that it's still being sold. I was pretty excited to be able to finally cut my teeth with the demo using your patch, and as a demo, it's really enticing. The animation is flawless, graphics are sharp, learning curve to picking up the right bonuses and avoiding the meanies is not too steep.

First, I would like to know if you had to strip off some protection. The instructions mention that the length of time the demo runs amounts to only a few seconds. Also, may be you could tell us if you plan to make a patch for the retail version (of course, it wouldn't work on "CD rips") ?

Third, I wonder if the famous CD soundtrack is being freely distributed (unlikely, I guess) and if it wasn't the case, wouldn't it be possible to create a CD of remixes to have some kind of in-game CD quality audio accompaniment.

All mentioned in the WHDLoad readme for this slave

CD Rips : Only the necessary files, no audio or video. Done to make the smallest version possible. Not really useful today, except if you are a real masochist...

Probably 34MB for both (demo+full version) with all videos, that's what i've meant.

Bah its all Deli's fault

I just had a quick look and the Demo is about 32mb and the full game the data folder is about 47mb and the Video folder 200+mb.

So if someone made a WHdload install for BASS CD32 then I guess they could for this.

Also looking a the content of the CD - Theres some kind of editor made in Blitz for the levels?

My t0 size is 251 Mo, the slave could be used on winuae but certainly not with a real amiga, which classic amiga has 256 mo ram ?
But without videos and intro why not....

Actually might not be such a bad thing as the Space bar/Bomb could do with patching to Joypad second Button
