Amiga 600/1200 PCMCIA Specs????

I have question which I could not fine answer to anywhere.
What is the voltage spec for PCMCIA port, can I use 3.3V cards?
I'm looking into getting PCMCIA DRAM card which runs at 3.3V.

Did anyone try to use DRAM cards instead usual PSRAM cards?

No you must only use 5v cards

Also, if I buy 16M card, will only max 4MB will be recognized, or will not work at all?

You cannot use cards which are over 4Mbytes either, I've got several SRAM cards which are over 4Mbytes and they don't work.

I was hoping that $3 DRAM card would work, any idea why DRAM cards would not work?

I have a 1Mb Dinamic RAM (no brand) on mine A600 and it works.

It is that kind with a little coin cell to keep data when used as a "disk"

Coin Cell = SRAM

IIRC, was just the flash units that can't be used as RAM on the Amiga!?
