whdload games under windows and case sensitiviti
Hi,
i remember when i tried to unpack some whdload games that there where files that have the same name but different cases. Then i unpacked them under Linux and transferd them to windows, but i cant remember if there where errors, am i able to use this games now or are the files important? would be fine when they land in tosec and check for problems like this. BTW. how can i sort my few adf games into subfolder, so that i have one folder per game and not 3 versions of any game? thx |

1. The games probably won't work, you will need to do the unpacking under AmigaOS itself where it supports the files.
2. No. I had to use a script to do this as no renamers support it. |

sorry for the unregistered, no cookie for this site have to change it.
thx for the answer, luck that i have the lzx files here. Can you give me a hint how to make such a script. i thought about that, it has to create one folder with a name trough the first "(" and than put all files with the same name trough the first "(" into that one. Did you make this with a windows batch script? Maybe you can post it here thx |

No, I used PHP, then I scrapped the idea completely after creating something much better than just found games based on what I type.

Nope, not unless you write something to manage them yourself or the renamer software makers add an option to add a folder per game...
