The one on UG is from 1999 and not the same game. There's no MS-DOS version of the SNES game s2325. Doesn't really matter since the Jaguar beats them all anyway

I bought a Jaguar just because of AvP after I read a (waay overrated) review in C+VG.

I still like the game It was/is great to play as each of the three 'species', the level design was/is quite decent and it's simply fun to play. Maybe not worth buying a Jaguar (), but surely a good game

All (3) people I know (not personally) who had the Jag here also loved the game so there must be something to it

Well I liked it the first 30 minutes.
It soon got boring and tedious to play, sloow gameplay and barely no SFX at all.
Good part was that the Aliens scared the crap out of me when they suddenly appeared behind me.

I remember those darn pesky face huggers in "Alien Trilogy" PSOne, they scared the crap out of me.
When playing late at night and they came from no where, then pow!!!!, a face full of legs, lol.

but you never bought a game as a result of playing a good demo? (and there's no way you could know it was the best level without the full game!) - I bought a lot of my favourite games because of demos - NZS, Lemmings, MegaLoMania, SWOS, all spring to mind immediately....

i wouldnt quite compare it to buying a whole gaming system!
