PAL CD32 on NTSC TV options?

Hey friends, I have a PAL CD32 and I live in the USA. I have a nice 32" Sony Trinitron Wega that I use for retro gaming and want to use the CD32 on this TV.

At present I have a small PAL->NTSC converter with component in and out. This runs and the CD32 works as expected.

My issue, though, is that it seems like there is some degradation in image quality. When I run my CD32 directly into my 1084 monitor, it looks much better, sharper, better colors. I know the TV looks great because other consoles really output great picture quality.

What other options exist for me to use the CD32 on this TV? It has component inputs. Is there a way to get a higher quality component output from the CD32 into the TV without sacrificing so much quality to convert it to NTSC?

Is there any chance you can try S-Video - sadly there is no component output from CD32 (i was forced to add component output in my CD32 by hooking wires to PCB but i not recommend this and regret my modification - making a hole in original enclosure is today a bit like butchery) - alternatively go for edge connector socket and use component signals provided on it.
