1. Are there firmware updates available? Are they easy to flash?

3. I noticed that sometimes that the system boots with a different KS than the one I selected... usually when I scroll through the menu and hit ENTER quickly. Is this a known issue?

Hey, I am on the same boat, thinking of ordering a Rumulator + TF 536 for my A500Rev8A1. However, I am not sure whether it will fit nicely and/or whether they are compatible to each other (though I don't find any reason not to). So, have tested this combo? Do you have any photo and comments to share?

I think you need to put another socket on the kickstart for Romulator to get a bit taller then you shouldn't have a problem.
( Same as Elbox did for FastATA and Indivision AGA back in the days :P )

I've since moved to a PiStorm, but if I remember correctly I needed to put an extra socket beneath the CPU relocator board to raise up the TF-536.

I had the v600 Romulator, so it may be different with a v500.

I've got the romulator board on an Amiga 500++ and all I get are LED1 and LED2 lit up solid blue, no menu (black screen) and no music. Boots fine with original 1.3 rom. KB reset line verified to be working and rev 3/5 jumper is off. This is one of the first batch AOTL got. 8gb SD card formatted fat32.
