Vegetables - Match 3 game

I'm porting my C64 Match 3 game Vegetables to the Amiga - here's a work in progress shot...

and an early game preview (1 hour 45 in)
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/477330372

It's being bundled with the C64 version, which comes out on September 30th on Double Sided games. On release day there will be a digital download (7.99 CAD, which is about a fiver) that includes both Amiga and C64 versions.

16 colours with a rainbow as the backdrop? By the look of the screen size it looks to be PAL only? but you mention CAD so maybe NTSC???

How can you tell if it hasn't been released yet? Are you a tester?

C64 version looks nice, Amiga version could have more colourful graphics.

I thought the Amiga version looked quite nice, actually. The graphics could be considered simple, but it really works in this case. The veggies really have their own personalities. To me that is a much art as more colors.
And it really is addictive. I could have played an hour or so and done my review, but so far have probably put 8 or 10 hours into it easy. It is worth the $8 if you just want the digital version. I got the cartridge myself. (Well, not yet, but I will when he ships it!)

I agree with Mailman, Amiga version should be more colorful. And i think it should be transparent background, not dice-like like now.

For example, there are few screenshots from Change It, which is similar game.

Of course it's AGA game (and with various themes), but with 32 colour palette it should be at least little more colorful.

Pictures above look so garish.

Vegetables looks cool though and really like the C64 music and Retro feel of the game.

Great

...but this seems to be the C64 version.

Where can one purchase a digital copy of the Amiga version only?

The devil is in the detail:

Quote:
The digital dowload version contains the PRG, D64 and CRT files for the Commodore 64 but also, as promised, the ADF for the Amiga version!
Also, they seem to hold an Amiga game dev competition this coming Halloween, was it already known?
